This "Waltzing Matilda" music box and miniature book is based on the famous poem by Banjo Patterson. The box has been wholly made by Pam Slattery in 2020 and houses a Swiss wind-up music box movement.
The timber music box measures 8.5 D x 11 cm W x 10 cm H, and houses the miniature, concertina style 8 x 8 cm book.
The inside of the music box has been lined with miniature Waltzing Matilda sheet music and the music box movement has a glass, protective covering.
The text has been inkjet printed on Canson Infinity Aquarelle Rag paper and the illustrations are all watercolours.
Only one copy has been made.
