This little artist's book was created in 2020 and is based on the famous poem by Australian poet, Dorothea Mackellar, written in 1895.
The hand-made outer box (10.5 x 10.5 cm) has a glass insert in the lid and houses a concertina book measuring 6.5 x 6.5 cm.
The text has been printed onto Canson Infinity Aquarelle Rag Paper and the 6 original illustrations have been painted in watercolour, each one measuring 4.5 x 4.5 cm.
An old map of Australia printed onto canvas paper adorns the base of the outer box.
The box and book have been wholly made by Pam Slattery and only one copy has been produced.
